Therapy for Kids & Preteens
Helping kids thrive through connection, structure, and support.
Children often express emotional struggles through behavior, relationships, or difficulties at school. Therapy provides a supportive space to strengthen emotional regulation, reduce anxiety, and build skills for home and school life.
Areas of focus:
Managing anxiety or big feelings
Improving social skills
Strengthening executive functioning
Supporting transitions or changes in routine
Enhancing parent-child communication
Clients often describe me as warm, thoughtful, and easy to talk to. I bring a steady, nonjudgmental presence to sessions and meet each child where they are—whether we’re focusing on practical tools like managing big feelings or creating space to process experiences in a safe, supportive way.
My work is collaborative and engaging, tailored to each child’s developmental stage and unique needs. Sessions may focus on building coping skills, improving communication, or navigating friendships and family relationships.
Sessions are developmentally appropriate and often incorporate play, art, and skill-building. My work draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and relational approaches. Parent involvement is a key part of the process, and I regularly consult with parents and educators to promote consistency and support across environments.

Doing the Work
We’ll meet weekly or biweekly to do the real work of therapy—building insight, practicing new skills, and moving toward healing and growth.
